Kejriwal press conference on Ram Temple row (PTI image) NEW DELHI ‘Shah didn’t visit temple in 891 days’ ‘Government must be changed’ Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday accused the BJP of shielding the "real culprits" in the alleged Ram Temple donation embezzlement case.Referring to the alleged embezzlement of donations made to the Ayodhya Ram Temple, Kejriwal alleged that the investigation was designed to protect those responsible."This is a sham SIT and a bogus FIR.
The real culprits are being shielded. Why are they being protected?" he asked.Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Kejriwal claimed Union home minister Amit Shah had not visited the temple in the 891 days since it was inaugurated, despite repeatedly referring to Lord Ram and the Ram Temple in his speeches."After the construction of the Ram Temple, home minister Amit Shah has not gone even once to bow at the feet of Lord Shri Ram.While addressing the press further, former Delhi CM also questioned the government at the Centre."If you want the donation thieves to be punished, then the government must be changed.
The present Central government and the present state government cannot ensure punishment.Every devotee of Lord Ram who wants the donation thieves to be punished should change the government," he said.Kejriwal also claimed that BJP leaders did not consider Lord Ram as God. “These people
do not consider Ram as God; otherwise, they would not steal.”The AAP chief's remarks come amid an escalating political row over allegations related to the handling of donations at the Ram Temple, with the party demanding accountability and an impartial investigation into the matter.
