The French forward also set a new FIFA World Cup knockout-stage scoring record and moved to 18 career World Cup goals, just one behind Lionel Messi's all-time tally. France, who have now outscored their opponents 13-2 in the tournament, produced another commanding performance, with Michael Olise continuing his impressive form. Didier Deschamps' side will now face Paraguay in the Round of 16, with a place in the quarter-finals against either Canada or Morocco at stake.
