The Uttarakhand Police have intensified law enforcement efforts under Operation Prahar, a statewide crime crackdown campaign. In the Pathri area of Haridwar, drone surveillance led to the discovery of bricks and stones stockpiled on rooftops following a past stone-pelting incident in Bodaheri village. Authorities immediately removed the stockpiles and detained nine individuals for disturbing the peace.
This campaign, initiated by the state government alongside the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police, aims to dismantle organised crime rings and curb street violence.
