Rajnath Singh Highlights Surge In Defence Production, Exports At Gujarat Conference | India Today Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said India's domestic defence production has grown from around ₹46,000 crore in 2014 to nearly ₹1.78 lakh crore today, while defence exports have increased from about ₹1,000 crore to nearly ₹39,000 crore. Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Vadodara, Singh said this was only the beginning of India's self-reliance journey and expressed confidence that Gujarat would play a key role in strengthening the country's defence manufacturing ecosystem.
