BJP MLA Raja Singh said he has been acquitted in a 2022 case in which he was accused of making remarks that allegedly hurt religious sentiments. Speaking after the verdict, Singh said he had always maintained his innocence and claimed the case, along with his detention under the Preventive Detention Act, was politically motivated.
He also alleged that false cases had been filed against him during the previous BRS government and the current Congress government.
