A Punjab Kings cricketer has denied allegations of assault, verbal abuse, and holding a cook hostage. This follows the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against the player, his father, and their driver. According to the complaint, the cook faced physical violence and had his mobile phone snatched when he tried to quit the job.
The police are investigating the incident and waiting for the medical report. In response, the cricketer has rejected all accusations, claiming the cook did not know how to cook and was caught recording private photos and videos inside the house. He alleges the cook entered his room and recorded his wardrobe, cash, and watches with the intention of stealing.
