Senior IAS officer Sanjay Jaju took charge as the Chief Secretary of Telangana at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat in Hyderabad on Tuesday (June 30, 2026).
The 1992 batch officer took over the charge upon retirement of K. Ramakrishna Rao. Prior to this, Mr. Jaju met with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in the city.
The State government issued orders appointing Mr. Jaju to the post on June 26, 2026. He is likely to start full functioning in his new
role from Wednesday (July 1, 2027).
