The NEET paper leak controversy has raised questions over the credibility of India's examination system. An activist has launched an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar in Delhi to demand accountability, joining an ongoing protest organised by a satirical movement that has entered its ninth day. Protesters, including student and civil society groups, are demanding the resignation of the Education Minister.
They are calling for full transparency, investigations into competitive exams, and a compensation of one crore rupees for the families of students who lost their lives due to the paper leak.
