In the Lohgad murder case, a Pune court has extended the police custody of the suspects until 3 July. The police sought further custody to recover deleted digital data and chats from the suspects' mobile phones, retrieve the victim's missing passport, and record statements of individuals contacted before the incident.
Additionally, the police plan to recreate the crime scene with both suspects to collect recording evidence for the charge sheet. The lawyer of one of the suspects argued that the arrest was not legally valid, but the court granted the extension to facilitate further investigation.
