An investigation into the murder at the Pune fort reveals a calculated conspiracy involving a cancelled pre-wedding trip. A woman and her alleged boyfriend are currently in custody for allegedly murdering her fiancé by pushing him off the top of the valley. Prior to the incident, a scheduled pre-wedding shoot in a foreign destination was abruptly cancelled after the victim's passport mysteriously went missing on the way to the airport.
Authorities suspect the accused deliberately removed and destroyed the document from the cab boot to prevent the trip. Investigators are now relying heavily on testimonies from the cab driver and the family members to build a watertight case. Law enforcement officials have conducted a detailed crime scene reconstruction at the fort using a mannequin to map the sequence of events. Closed-circuit television footage is also being examined to understand the exchange of gestures between the accused parties.
