(You can now subscribe to our (You can now subscribe to our Economic Times WhatsApp channel The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Delhi's electoral rolls begins on Tuesday, with more than 13,000 booth-level officers (BLOs) set to carry out a door-to-door verification of voters across the national capital.The exercise will cover Delhi's 1.45 crore electors.
During the revision, BLOs will distribute two copies of an enumeration form to every voter. One copy will serve as an acknowledgement, while the other must be filled out and returned. Voters can also submit their details online.More than 13,000 booth-level officers will visit households across Delhi to verify
voter details. press conference on Monday, Delhi Chief Electoral Officer Ashok Kumar said, "The issue of voters' houses recently demolished in the anti-encroachment drive in the city will be taken up with the Election Commission of India."Delhi has 13,033 polling stations spread across seven Lok Sabha constituencies and 70 Assembly constituencies.
