Aashutosh Srivastava is not the family's lawyer and may have obtained Siya Goyal's signature "by deceit", her brother Sahil Goyal claimed on Monday, as police continue to investigate the alleged murder of Pune-based realtor Ketan Agarwal, in which Siya and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, have been arrested. Speaking exclusively to India Today's Omkar, Sahil questioned Srivastava's role in the case and said neither he nor his family had engaged him as their legal representative.

When asked if he had spoken to his sister after the incident, Sahil declined to comment, saying, "No, sir. Whatever else there is, the police will tell you in the court." Police have arrested 20-year-old Siya Goyal and her alleged lover, 22-year-old Chetan Chaudhary, for allegedly conspiring to kill Ketan Agarwal by pushing him off Lohagad Fort in Pune district on June 18.
