A 25-year-old tourist, identified as Shrenik Milind Takale from Kolhapur, died after diving from an estimated height of 8–10 feet into a four-foot-deep children's swimming pool at a resort in Malvan, Sindhudurg district, Maharashtra. He suffered a fatal head injury after striking the pool floor. CCTV footage of the incident has gone viral, showing friends initially unaware that he had been critically injured before rushing him to a hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
