The driver claimed Siya was initially reluctant to board the cab, later asked him to unlock the boot during a stop, and that the family reported Ketan's passport missing only after reaching the airport.
Police suspect the passport was deliberately removed and destroyed to prevent the Bali trip, alleging the episode formed part of the broader conspiracy behind the murder.
