Aam Aadmi Party's Sikh MLAs and ministers are set to appear before Akal Takht over the controversial sacrilege law enacted by the Punjab government. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said party representatives would submit the government's position in writing, adding that he had not been summoned.
According to party leaders, Mann was excluded because the Akal Takht had earlier directed the Sikh community to socially boycott him. The development comes amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Mann's viral video and the broader sacrilege row in Punjab.
