The blast took place at RP Fireworks Factory, owned by Seeni, at Moorthynaickenpatti near Vembakottai. The blast incident was confirmed by Virudhunagar Collector Dr NO Sukhaputra, ANI reported. However, there were no immediate reports of any injuries. The cause of the blast was not immediately known as officials were assessing the situation.
