AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal has promised to establish sports clubs in every village across Punjab as part of this effort. Addressing youth leaders during a leadership programme last year via video conference, Kejriwal had said the clubs would be equipped with modern sports infrastructure, enabling young people to excel in athletics and other disciplines. Kejriwal said the clubs would nurture leadership, teamwork, community service, environmental awareness, folk arts and entrepreneurship.
