Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said a comprehensive action plan has been put in place to tackle pollution in the Delhi-NCR region, with implementation to be carried out at the municipal corporation level. He said civic bodies have been directed to prepare management plans in advance, while the Centre is working with the Agriculture Ministry to curb stubble burning.
Yadav also highlighted mechanised dust control measures and the installation of Online Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (OCEMS) in industries to reduce pollution.
