Addressing the Parliament of Seychelles, Prime Minister Modi recalled that the country was his first destination in the Indian Ocean region after assuming office in 2015, describing the visit as a reflection of India’s long-term commitment to strengthening ties with the archipelago. ‘Seychelles Holds Special Place In India’s Indian Ocean Vision’ “I came here because I believe that Seychelles occupied a special place in India’s vision for the Indian Ocean.
