A three-story illegal mazaar built on government land in Tronika City, Ghaziabad, has been demolished during an anti-encroachment drive. The structure, constructed in a green zone belonging to the UP Industrial Development Authority, began as a small construction in 2001 and expanded to over 2,700 square feet over twenty-five years.
Despite multiple notices, the land was not vacated. Following court orders, the Ghaziabad administration and police carried out the demolition amid heavy security to maintain law and order. More illegal constructions are expected to be identified and brought down in the near future.
