Hundreds of students, teachers, and people from different walks of life participated in the Anti-Drug Awareness Rally to sensitise the youths and the general public about the harmful effects of drug abuse in Hubballi on Saturday.
In the awareness rally organised by the Sana Group of Institutions, the participants held placards highlighting the harmful impact of drug abuse, encouraging people to join hands in creating a healthy, drug-free society. Chairman of Sana Group of Institutions, Mohammed Hussain Malagi, flagged off the awareness rally on the institution's premises at Bhairidevarakoppa.
The awareness rally covered the thoroughfares of Shantiniketan Colony, with participants highlighting the need for the general public to be cautious about the drug menace. Several residents
of the area, including Sikander Khan and Nagesh, headmistress Sonia Padmasi, principal Shaikh Mujibur Rehman, executive trustee Mohammed Ayub Savanur, and trustee Sarfaraz Attar, led the awareness rally.
