The police have formed six teams to investigate the murder case of a man. The brother of the accused woman was grilled by the local police for over ten hours. In his statement to the police, the brother stated that the sister never mentioned any reluctance to marry the deceased. He noted that the family would not have proceeded with the wedding had she informed them of any unwillingness.
The brother and the co-accused were reportedly friends who played cricket together. The police continue to record statements from other family members, including the parents, who previously claimed they had no knowledge of any relationship between the accused and the co-accused. Investigators plan to summon more common friends to progress with the ongoing inquiry.
