(File photo) The father of Ketan Agarwal, the 25-year-old businessman allegedly murdered at Lohagad Fort near Pune on June 18, has strongly rejected speculation that his son’s use of a hair wig was the reason behind the killing. Vishal Agarwal said Ketan suffered from a minor patch of hair loss due to a medical condition and that the matter had been disclosed to Siya Goyal and her family well before their engagement was finalised. ‘Hair Loss Was Disclosed Before Engagement’ “Ketan had a small patch of hair loss due to medical reasons, but this was clearly communicated well before the marriage was finalised," Vishal Agarwal said.

Police believe Ketan’s death was the outcome of a planned conspiracy involving his fiancée, Siya, 20, and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary, 22. The case was initially treated as an accidental fall, but investigators later found evidence suggesting foul play. Police Probe Alleged Murder Conspiracy According to police, Siya had allegedly made multiple attempts to take Ketan to Lohagad Fort in the weeks leading up to the incident.
Investigators claim she first tried to push him from a cliff on June 14, but he survived after grabbing a bush. Four days later, she allegedly returned to the fort with Ketan while Chetan followed them, and the pair pushed him into a gorge, causing his death. Call records reportedly revealed thousands of conversations between Siya and Chetan, some lasting several hours. During questioning, Chetan allegedly told investigators that Siya was unwilling to break off the engagement and elope because she feared bringing dishonour to her family. Both accused have been arrested and charged with murder and criminal conspiracy.
