The 2026 facelift of the Tata Tiago has received a significantly redesigned interior, with updates that are nearly as extensive as the changes made to the exterior. Ahead of its launch on May 28, Tata Motors has showcased a much more modern cabin layout featuring new screens, updated materials and added convenience features. Read Full Story New dashboard and dual floating screens The biggest highlight inside the updated Tiago is the completely redesigned dashboard. Tata has introduced a layered dashboard layout replacing the older swooping design seen on the outgoing model.
The cabin now gets two floating displays, a free-standing infotainment touchscreen and a new digital instrument cluster. While the infotainment system itself appears largely unchanged, the fully digital instrument cluster replaces the dated LCD unit from the current Tiago, giving the hatchback a more premium and contemporary feel. More features and updated cabin elements The facelift also introduces several new convenience featureLos, including dual wireless charging pads integrated into the redesigned gloss-black centre console. However, the addition of the charging pads has removed the storage tray that was previously available in that area.
Other updates include New dual-tone black and grey fabric upholstery Redesigned door pads Front centre armrest Revised AC vents New floating panel for HVAC controls The HVAC switchgear itself has been carried forward unchanged, along with the familiar two-spoke steering wheel. Exterior changes On the outside, the facelifted Tiago gets Revised front and rear bumpers New LED headlamps and tail lamps Contrasting connecting light bands New alloy wheel designs The updates mainly focus on the soft parts, but they significantly modernise the hatchback’s appearance. Powertrain expected to remain unchanged Mechanically, the updated Tiago is expected to continue with the same engine options 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 86hp 1.2-litre CNG version producing 75.5hp Both engines are expected to retain the choice of a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.
