The development comes as Uttar Pradesh Police continue their investigation into the alleged embezzlement of devotees' donations at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Earlier, eight accused were arrested after an FIR was registered based on the preliminary findings of a Special Investigation Team (SIT).
According to sources, CCTV footage allegedly captured staff members stealing cash, bundles of ₹500 notes reportedly went missing, and police recovered ₹10 lakh from one of the accused.
