US officials say Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is behind a drone strike on a Singapore-flagged vessel as the ship left the Strait of Hormuz. The attack came hours after the IRGC warned it would take action against any vessel that did not follow the routes Iran had laid out in the Strait.
The death toll continues to climb after a pair of back-to-back powerful earthquakes struck Venezuela with officials saying more than 200 people have died and at least 4,000 people were injured. The Park Service (NPS) says the Reflecting Pool was vandalized with a sharp knife or razor as arrests have been made for vandalism after the major renovation project pushed forward by President Donald Trump.
