Defence sources told CNN-News18 that two C-17 aircraft by the Indian Air Force (IAF) will carry relief materials, including BHISHM cubes, and medical supplies.
Venezuela was hit by two powerful earthquakes –– within a span of a minute –– on Wednesday. According to the country’s health ministry, the death toll in the disaster has reached 235, with over 1,500 said to be injured. In a post on ‘X’, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar announced that India’s mission –– aimed at offering relief to Venezuela –– was named “Operation Amistad". “Operation Amistad underway!
