The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) on Thursday declared the final results for the Homeopathic Pharmacist recruitment, selecting 395 candidates against 397 vacancies. According to the Commission, two posts remained vacant due to the non-availability of eligible candidates in two sub-categories of the Persons with Disabilities (Divyang) quota. The final merit list was prepared based on the written examination and document verification.
Of the selected candidates, 159 are from the General category, 107 from the Other Backward Classes (OBC), 83 from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, seven from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category and 39 from the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The selection list also includes 82 women candidates. The Commission said that seven vacancies reserved for Outstanding Sportspersons were filled through the general merit list as no eligible candidates were available in the reserved category. It also released the category-wise cut-off marks. The cut-off stood at 48.75 for the General category, 42.75 for OBC, 38.75 for SC, 38.50 for EWS and 34.50 for ST candidates. According to the Commission, only four eligible candidates were available against seven posts reserved for dependents of freedom fighters, while no eligible candidate qualified under the E Servicemen category.
One post each under the LC and AAV sub-categories of the Persons with Disabilities category remained vacant due to the absence of eligible candidates. The Commission said these vacancies have been adjusted to the General category in accordance with government rules. The detailed merit list and category-wise selection details have been published on the Commission’s official website. The recruitment is part of the Uttar Pradesh government’s ongoing hiring process, which the state government says is aimed at ensuring transparent and merit-based appointments.
