Maharashtra Man Kills Wife By Smashing Her Head On TV During Argument, Arrested Published By Last Updated: May 24, 2026, 23:35 IST In Bhiwandi, Thane, Satish Kaluram Waghe allegedly killed his wife by smashing her head with a TV during argument, he was arrested under section 103(1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Representative Image A 35-year-old man allegedly killed his wife by smashing her head with a television set during an argument at their home in Maharashtra’s Thane district, police said on Sunday.
The incident took place in the Bhiwandi area on Saturday night. According to police, the accused and his wife got into a heated argument following which he allegedly attacked her with the TV set. Police said that the accused, Satish Kaluram Waghe alias Guddu, was suspicious of his wife, Sarika (20), and the couple quarrelled frequently. The woman suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot, officials said.
After the incident, the accused reportedly informed neighbours, who alerted the police. Police arrested the man and the body was sent for post-mortem examination and further investigation is underway. The accused was booked under section 103(1) (murder) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
