An investigation into a religious conversion network in Rajasthan has uncovered a massive plot allegedly operated by handlers in Pakistan. Authorities have arrested an accused individual in Kota and another in Jaipur, revealing a coordinated effort to target vulnerable individuals using platforms like Telegram, Snapchat, and Discord. The accused reportedly possessed thousands of obscene videos featuring anti-Hindu symbols used to lure and brainwash victims.
Law enforcement officials indicate that the suspects were manipulated by foreign handlers associated with terror outfits, who instructed them to radicalize local youth and facilitate conversions. Audio evidence suggests that the handlers guided the accused to remain hidden while operating online. Hindu groups are demanding a national-level probe into the widespread use of social media for these illicit activities.
While police have recovered digital evidence and made arrests under the IT Act, the anti-terror squad continues to investigate the broader conspiracy, financial transactions, and cross-border terrorism links.
