The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls began in Telangana on Thursday (June 25, 2026). The beginning of the exercise was marked with Booth Level Officers’ (BLO) house-to-house visits to distribute Enumeration Forms, which have to be returned on the subsequent visit of the officers. Important dates The BLOs will visit the houses from June 25 to July 24. The draft electoral rolls will be published on July 31.
Claims and objections can be filed from July 31 to September 28. The final electoral roll will be published on October 1, 2026. People can search for their name in the voter list using EPIC number, through Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Telangana website (). It also has a feature for electors to know the details of their Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), AERO and BLO. The electoral roll of SIR-2002 too can be accessed.
DEOs inspect EF distribution process Wanaparthy District Collector Adarsh Surabhi on Thursday inspected the process of distribution of the Enumeration Forms. He issued directions to complete the distribution before July 1 and explain to electors how to fill the forms. Gadwal District Collector Rizwanbasha Shaik said that Booth Level Agents (BLA) should wear identity cards while accompanying BLOs during the house-to-house visits. Hyderabad District Election Officer and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner R.V. Karnan too inspected the distribution process in Jubilee Hills constituency.
“If a house is locked, the Enumeration Form will be placed at the doorstep. Collection of duly filled Enumeration Forms will begin after one week. Please note that no documents will be collected during this phase of the exercise,” as per a post from the Hyderabad DEO’s handle on X. Forms available online
