The MLA was booked after mocking a birthday photograph shared by an actress, claiming the Chief Minister is trapped and cornered in the assembly. The incident has triggered a sharp war of words, leading to a police case being registered against the legislator for his comments.
Adding to the row, an independent local body corporation member also made controversial remarks during a council meeting. The independent member mockingly demanded that the actress's portrait be placed in the office alongside other political leaders to prevent riots, claiming she was responsible for the government change. The clash over portraits in the local body office has further intensified political tensions between rival parties in the state, with local leaders demanding the removal of unauthorized pictures.
