Having retired in 1996, the former police officer has spent nearly three decades voluntarily cleaning parks, streets, and public spaces in Chandigarh. Long before the Swachh Bharat initiative became a national movement, he made maintaining the city's cleanliness his personal mission.
He continues this public service daily, collecting discarded garbage to inspire citizens to act. His family highlights his consistent routine of over twenty-five years, aimed at improving the environment, air, and water for a better society.
