Ships are finally leaving the Strait of Hormuz - but the danger isn’t over. A UN-led evacuation plan is now guiding vessels through one of the world’s key oil routes.
Hundreds of ships - and thousands of crew - remain stranded as traffic slowly begins to recover. Some vessels are already passing through newly designated corridors.
But with safety concerns still high, including reported mine risks, the passage remains far from secure. So the big question remains - is it really safe to sail?
