Yarraji, who underwent successful anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery in July last year, clocked 13.14 seconds in the heats—comfortably bettering the AFI’s qualifying mark of 13.34 seconds. The 26-year-old, running with both legs strapped, had won a silver medal at the 2022 Asian Games in China. Her national record stands at 12.78 seconds, set in 2023. She had sustained the injury in June last year during training.
