During a recent bilateral meeting, Indian and United States officials discussed a wide range of strategic, regional, and global issues. The talks highlighted the growing cooperation between the two nations, focusing on defense, trade, and energy. Key developments include the renewal of the ten-year Major Defense Partnership Framework Agreement and the signing of a Comprehensive Underwater Domain Awareness Roadmap. Both nations reaffirmed their zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, acknowledging the successful extradition of a key planner of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks from the United States to India last year.
