According to local media reports, the blast occurred near Chaman Phatak and damaged train coaches, nearby homes, and vehicles, triggering panic in the area.
Soon after the explosion, the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack, describing it as a “fidayeen” or suicide strike targeting Pakistani military personnel. Emergency services, firefighters, and local residents rushed to the scene as rescue operations began following the deadly blast near the railway track.
