Several regions also witnessed landslides, affecting road connectivity. The government of neighbouring Assam also issued a high alert on Wednesday, urging citizens to remain vigilant and exercise caution. Significant destruction was caused to the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) Colony in Posa, Yazali, and Keyi Panyor districts of Arunachal Pradesh, sources told CNN-News18. The main highway bridge was also washed away in the flash floods, and rescue operations were hampered due to excessive rainfall.
