In his first major address on the floor of the Tamil Nadu Assembly, Chief Minister Vijay launched a sweeping attack on both the DMK and AIADMK, accusing previous governments of enabling corruption and weakening governance. Responding to the Motion of Thanks to the Governor's Address, Vijay alleged that loopholes created since 2017 had allowed public revenue to be diverted and claimed his government was restoring accountability.
