A UN agency says an evacuation plan will begin to help 11,000 stranded seafarers in Strait of Hormuz. Oil Tankers, cargo ships and vessels are still waiting to transit through the waterway.
The US and Iran have agreed to establish a line of communication to help ensure safe passage. After a sharp decline in shipping traffic, the strait has begun to recover some of its activity.
