Security Forces Recover RPG Ammunition Cache In Jammu-Kashmir's Baramulla Published By, Last Updated: May 24, 2026, 12:02 IST Security forces in Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir recovered OG-7V and PG-7P RPG ammunition in a joint operation. Representative Image (File Photo/ANI) Security forces recovered a large quantity of explosive ammunition during a joint operation in the Nilsar Kandi area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said.
The operation was carried out jointly by the Baramulla Police, 52 Rashtriya Rifles and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of terrorist-related material in the area. During the search operation, security personnel recovered 14 rounds of OG-7V Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) ammunition and nine rounds of PG-7P RPG ammunition.
Officials said the recovered explosives were seized during the operation. A case has been filed and further investigation is underway.
