Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday thanked Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, for personally reaching out and offering condolences following the deaths of 12 Indian nationals in the tragic incident at Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar.
In a post on X, PM Modi said he and the Qatari monarch shared the grief of the bereaved families and discussed support for those affected by the accident.
