RGUKT begins admission counselling for 1,000 engineering seats

The counselling process for admissions to the si year integrated engineering courses (two years PUC and four years engineering) offered by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technologies (RGUKT) -Etcherla campus, in Srikakulam district, began on June 23 and will continue on June 24, officials of the university said on Tuesday.
As many as 1,000 students are expected to be admitted. Students who completed Class X with distinction, accompanied by their parents, attended the counselling sessions. Admissions convener Amarendra Kumar
and Director M. Giridhar said: "The admission process was being conducted as per the merit list and reservation system." The university arranged for transport, food and other facilities for
students and their parents attending the counselling sessions. The University Administrative Officer Muni Ramakrishna, Dean, Shivaramakrishna, Finance Officer Vasu, Public Relations Officer Mamidi Shanmukha and others coordinated the admission process.
