You left when we were so close to getting married. I still can’t understand why you did this to me. I had dreams, questions I’ll never get answers to. Why did you leave me when I loved you so much? Rest in peace." “I Loved You So Much, Yet You…!" — Siya Goyal’s Instagram Story Goes Viral After Ketan Agrawal Murder Case in Pune. pic.twitter.com/K8HsF1l121— Punjab Lens – Unfiltered (@punjablens) June 23, 2026 The Instagram story is now going viral after Pune Rural Police alleged that the June 18 death was not an accidental fall, but a premeditated murder. Investigators claim Siya and Chetan, who had known each other for about a year, conspired to kill Ketan and pushed him off the Lohagad Fort. The couple had got engaged in February and were reportedly preparing for a lavish wedding in Jaipur. According to police, Ketan Agarwal and Siya Goyal first went trekking to Lohagad Fort on May 31, where investigators believe she may have conceived the plan to kill him and pass it off as an accident.
The couple returned to the fort on June 14, accompanied by her alleged lover Chetan Chaudhary, but their alleged attempt to murder the businessman was unsuccessful. Police said the duo finally executed the plan during another visit to the fort on June 18. Ketan’s father Vishal Agarwal said if Siya did not want to marry, she could have refused instead of killing his son. “If she didn’t want to get married, she could have simply refused; we would have cancelled the wedding immediately. Why did they decide to take such a drastic step? What kind of mindset do they have? Their mindset is so cruel that someone’s 26-year-old son could be killed…Society needs to take note of such a cruel mindset. Where does this ideology come from, their family, their upbringing?" he said.
