The kitchen ceiling was also found to be greasy. An improvement notice was issued directing the management to strengthen hygiene, storage and housekeeping practices. Mould growth was detected on cauliflower, while batter stored in refrigerators lacked proper labels. Houseflies and cockroaches were found in the kitchen and store room. Records pertaining to pest control, water quality testing and packaging material testing were not available. The eatery was served with an improvement notice for immediate rectification of the deficiencies. Natural Aqua packaged drinking water unit At the Natural Aqua packaged drinking water unit in Gajularamaram, the bottling unit lacked adequate barriers to prevent the entry of pests and dust, and records related to pest control, medical fitness and cleaning schedules were unavailable.
Officials found that the unit had not obtained a no-objection certificate (NOC) for groundwater extraction and that the water analysis report lacked microbial analysis. The transportation vehicle did not possess an FSSAI licence, while NABL certification for packing materials was not produced. Drinking water samples were collected and sent for laboratory analysis.
