Vijay said his political roots date back to the 1990s through fan clubs that later evolved into the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam and eventually Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
He highlighted the party's electoral success, recalled challenges faced during public meetings, and said TVK had challenged traditional politics based on caste, religion and money power. Vijay also thanked the people of Tamil Nadu for their support and credited them for his political rise.
