The plane left the tarmac after half hour. Passengers of an IndiGo flight from Vadodara to New Delhi claimed that they were left stranded in the aircraft without air-conditioning. However, the airport officials said the disruption of power was due to a technical glitch but it was restored in half hour.

According to videos that went viral on social media, the passengers had to resort to using cardboard sheets, files, and newspapers to fan themselves inside the closed cabin. Gujarat Samachar reported that some passengers claimed that the aircraft doors remained shut during the delay, making conditions inside the cabin increasingly “suffocating". According to the Airport officials, the ground power unit was affected due to a technical glitch which caused disruption in power supply.
They further said that it was restored in about half hour.
