Nearly an hour later, her husband Samarth, along with two other men, can be seen carrying her downstairs through the staircase. According to the video, the woman died on May 10. Video Shows Twisha’s Husband Attempting To Revive Her The footage also appears to capture attempts to revive Twisha, with CPR allegedly being administered on the staircase soon after she was brought down. The visuals have added a fresh dimension to the ongoing investigation into her death. However, the deceased’s family informed police about a timing error in the CCTV system, alleging that the date displayed in the video is incorrect. They claimed the video is from May 12, not May 10. As the accused husband remains absconding, a local court on Monday reserved its decision on his anticipatory bail application, while his mother, retired judge Giribala Singh, has already obtained anticipatory bail in the matter. Speaking to reporters, Misrod ACP Rajneesh Kashyap said police teams were actively searching for Samarth Singh and a reward had been declared for information leading to his arrest. Kashyap also said the preliminary post-mortem report from AIIMS Bhopal indicated that the cause of death was “hanging suicide". He further stated that action would be initiated if any lapse was found in the investigation, particularly regarding the alleged failure to send the rope used in the hanging to AIIMS during the post-mortem examination process.

Twisha Was Under Psychiatric Treatment, Claims Mother-In-Law Earlier in the day, the accused mother-in-law made a series of statements defending her family and speaking about the deceased’s mental health and alleged drug use. Addressing a press conference, the e judge said the investigation should proceed fairly. “Law should be followed," she said, adding that the “Case should not be influenced." Calling Twisha’s death a major loss for the family, Singh stated, “Twisha was undergoing a ‘mental training programme’; we supported her throughout. Her loss has created a huge vacuum for us." She further claimed that Twisha had been receiving psychiatric treatment. “It’s a profound loss for us because, whatever the circumstances, she was a part of our family… She went for psychiatric counselling also, and medicines were prescribed to her, which are given to a schizophrenic patient… She would remain stable for a day or so, but then again, there would be a slight change in her condition. We observed some physical symptoms, a slight trembling in her hands, which is typical of withdrawal symptoms… She destroyed everything…" the e judge further said. ‘Samarth Was Never Into Drugs’: E Judge Defends Son Defending his son, she stated that Samarth never indulged in drugs and called him a “competent advocate." “Samarth is a very competent advocate and was never into drugs," while alleging that “Twisha confessed to consuming large quantities of marijuana during pregnancy." She also expressed grief over her daughter-in-law’s death.

“Twisha was on schizophrenic drugs, we failed to save her," she stated. Meanwhile, police are continuing their investigation into the case amid growing public attention and allegations from both sides.
