A devastating fire at a commercial building in Lucknow has left 15 people dead, including 12 men and three women, and four others injured. The fire broke out on the second floor of the building, forcing trapped people to jump or climb down from windows to escape. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, accompanied by the Deputy Chief Minister, the Director General of Police, and other top officials, visited the site to assess the situation and receive a briefing.
The Chief Minister reprimanded fire safety officials and ordered strict action against those responsible for lapses. The Chief Minister is also scheduled to visit KGMU to meet the injured victims.
