A political dispute has emerged in Karnataka after three students were denied entry to a medical entrance examination center in Bengaluru for arriving late. The Bharatiya Janata Party alleged that a political rally organized by the Congress party caused traffic jams, leading to the students missing their exam. In response, the Congress party denied these allegations, stating that their event had no impact on the students' routes.
Congress representatives stated that one student missed a bus, another carried an incorrect hall ticket from a previous exam date, and the third student's delay is still being ascertained. Furthermore, the Congress party accused the central government of mismanaging the examination process and questioned the organization of nationwide yoga events on the same day. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party defended the central government's handling of the exam and highlighted that central leadership delayed their own travel to avoid inconveniencing students, demanding accountability from the state government for the traffic disruptions.
